Class 6,
Well, that was a busy week, wasn't it? I hope you are all keeping safe and healthy. I spoke to a few of you this week, either on email or phone, and have seen quite a bit of your work. It was great to hear from you all. I do miss you and I hope we can see each other again soon.
The week's learning is ready, so I expect to see some great work from you. Look at the Learning From Home section at the top right of this page (it has a fancy logo). It will take you lower KS2's learning page, where you will find all the learning you need.
Remember that you have your passwords for Education City and Purple Mash, so you can access both sites.
Happy Learning!
Mr Lambert
The link below takes you to additional resources. If you want something else to do, take a look.
During the first lockdown, Let's Go Live with Maddie and Greg was a popular YouTube programme. Focusing on different science activities, the new series starts on Monday 11th January and is well worth a look.
Maddie and Greg also did a week of activities on Brilliant Bodies. As this is our science unit for this half-term, it would be great to look at. It is available on YouTube.
BBC Bitesize is back this week. There are additional activities on the site which might help should you want to do some additional learning.
We have now subscribed to myON books which is an extension of the Accelerated Reader programme. You should now have a login for 'MyOn Reading'. These are great books that you can find related to your child's reading ability. You can also complete a quiz afterwards on accelerated reader.
Oak National Academy also has some great lessons. Again, feel free to look at what it has to offer.
Reading
Even when you're at home, please try to read with an adult at least three times each week.
Joe Wicks
Popular fitness coach Joe Wicks is back! His PE sessions will on Monday 11th January. Click the link and have a go.
